Najwa, an accomplished teacher, receives an offer to work at an exclusive school in Jakarta. Despite her trauma related to big cities, Najwa decides to accept the offer for the sake of her only child, Lisa's, future.
In Jakarta, Najwa moves into a house located within the residential area of her students’ parents, all of whom are members of the Payung Emas Foundation: a philanthropic organization focused on improving education and combating malnutrition in Indonesia. Though warmly welcomed at both her school and new neighborhood, Najwa feels uneasy, as the house she now lives in seems haunted. Additionally, she discovers a diary from the previous teacher, who wrote about experiencing the same haunting.
To cope with her anxiety, Najwa takes medication, but it doesn’t stop the strange occurrences. Mustering the courage to delve deeper into what the spirits are trying to convey, Najwa discovers that the ghosts are victims of a cannibalistic ritual that has been practiced for thousands of years.
Now, having uncovered the truth, Najwa must flee, as she and her daughter are the next intended victims.
Scenes of gruesome human feasts loom ever closer. In her desperate attempt to escape, Najwa finds herself even more ensnared in the horrifying web of the ritual. Meanwhile, the members of the Foundation, who practice dark magic, are willing to do anything to devour Najwa alive on the night of the ritual.
